Yes, isn't it wonderful?

I wish Gibbs would take a page from Tuna's book, stop being so gracious, and start telling folks off, and kicking rump. I pity this man. Deeply. He has yet to learn some of today's players see dignity as a sign of weakness.
|
Why would we want him to do that? I would prefer Gibbs to continue being his wimpy self and let these thugs and hooligans walk all over him. More beer for us.

As for this PUNK Taylor, who doesn't see fit to even call JOE GIBBS all offseason, I wonder who got the bail-out (with the press if not out of jail..somebody is going to have to run interference for the punk with the Post) call at Skins Hdqtrs.

I bet he just called his sleazy lawyer, Drew Rosenhaus.

More wonderful by far would be seeing Snyder face the jackals..99% of the mess is HIS, as his lack of appreciation for "chemistry" and throwing big money at all and sundry without attention to character and leadership is why Gibbs inherited such a morass. Taylor is on Gibbs watch, but if ever there was a team that on draft day had to overlook character for talent, it is the Skins - after all, they have consistently thrown away draft picks for aging pricey talent, and Gibbs must feel even more pressured than most HCs not to waste a precious pick.

Few things in life I find more enjoyable than going to extremeskins on a game day and observing the weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth, but for some reason I find no pleasure in Gibbs' abashed and stuttering press conferences. He's doing the right thing by just getting rid of the miscreants like Coles and Gardner, but it will take years to put together the corps of a true t-e-a-m. He didn't have the op, being out of the league for so long, to bring in his own guys as enforcers as Tuna did. I'm happy for the disadvantage that puts him at, but feel for him just the same.

If there's bail involved, trust him to put it on the Skins tab.

It hasn't been issued yet because they are playing nice and asking him to come in voluntarily. If he's not in by 5:00 the warrant will be issued. Either way, the police want to talk to him rather urgently.
Its supposedly having to do with gun shots fired at a vehicle.
Clinton Portis said Sean Taylor wasn't working out with the team because he wanted to kick back and relax and get away from the game. Nothing eases the mind like a drive-by.

If he shot at a vehicle, I don't think it classifies as a drive by....
Ask Richard Pryor.....

I wonder how Larry Allen would feel about a generalization like that. That being said, there is something seriously wrong with this current generation of Hurricane players. The old generation (Irvin, Blades brothers, Jerome Brown, Jesse Armstead, etc.) may have been arrogant but they always put the team first. Winslow Jr, Portis and Taylor have all bought into their own hype before really even accomplishing anything. Speaking of Portis, I was reading the Pro Football Weekly preview magazine, at it had him rated as the #2 RB in football. I find that hard to believe after his mediocre season with the Skins. They did have Julius Jones ahead of Kevin Jones and Steven Jackson though....

Well, it's not ALL the young generation of Hurricanes (but do add in Shockey).
It would be tough to find a smarter, more mature, responsible player than last year's Defensive Rookie of the Year.
Jonathan Vilma is exceptional by any generation's standards.

4. Their defense is in shambles.
5. Taylor gets an arrest warrant issued on him.
It would be sad if Joe Gibbs or Daniel Snyder had a massive coronary attack because of this.

God bless you WG I am glad there are people like you out there. As for me I hope the snowball gets bigger and bigger on its way down. The only person I might feel bad for is Joe Gibbs he is to good of a coach and a person to have to put up with this sh!@

Speaking of buying into your own hype before you've really done anything, anyone who follows Texas High School recruiting will remember the day Jesse Armstead commited to the University of Miami .... via press conference .... while sitting in a hot tub. One of his posse members was sitting in the hot tub with him all blinged out sipping on a champagne glass. It actually was kind of funny, it was so ridiculous.

From the Hurricane board where the story first broke comes the most respected poster on the board and Hurricane insider ...

It should be noted that the statement issued by the police department does not say whether he was a perp, victim or witness. It just says they want to talk to him.
