Default Warrant issued for Sean Taylor's arrest???

If we can talk about 49er PR video's and german football teams on this board, surely we can talk about our biggest rivals.

Quote:
An NFL source tells ESPN's Chris Mortensen that the league has gotten a communication from the Dade County Police Department, which says there is a warrant out for Taylor's arrest in regards to an alleged assault with a weapon.

[font=Tahoma]Things just keep getting worse for the Redskins, don't they?

1. They draft Jason Campbell way too early.
2. Sean Taylor has a contract dispute.
3. They are in salary cap hell.
4. Their defense is in shambles.
5. Taylor gets an arrest warrant issued on him.

It would be sad if Joe Gibbs or Daniel Snyder had a massive coronary attack because of this.

I bet Joe Gibbs hasn't been this frustrated since the time he played Scrabble with Dexter Manley.

Wasn't there some guy on this message board that stated the following:

"I would trade Roy Williams for Sean Taylor TODAY."

I wonder if he still thinks that?

The only thing that would make this better was if he had TO with him at the time of the crime.

It even seem worse considering that Sean Taylors father is a Sheriff ( or Deputy) in Taylors hometown county.

How can you draft the best(most NFL ready in draft) QB too early. The Redskins are ecstatic about the way Campbell has looked in the mini-camp. They say he shows accuracy, mobility and arm-strength. They say he's also picking up their offense just fine and that he's completely unflappable, nothing surprises or rattles him. In my opinion he was a steal and will be starting by mid-season. He won the second most games of any QB in the SEC,and don't start with the super RB non-sense. While he did have two 1st round RB's, they didn't always have big games, and when they didn't he threw the ball well enough to get victories(see, the Alabama game). Both backs were stopped cold and Campbell passed them to victory. Also, 2004 was the first year that both of those backs were healthy at the same time, remember Cadillac blew out his knees at least twice at Auburn.

I've never been a big fan of Joe Gibbs, but I do respect him, and it has been ticking me off seeing this venerable doing his almost weekly press conference schtick EXPLAINING such items as Lav Coles' hissy fit, Lavar Arrington's ongoing hissy fit, Gardner's hissy fit, psuedo-apologizing for drafting Campbell, making it clear to the press Taylor is still "in the plans"...

it just never ends.

Yeah, and there he was out there once again yesterday, explaining best he could he was not running non-union sanctioned OTA's. To his knowledge anyway.

The idea was that Gibbs, not Snyder or Cerratto would be the face of the Skins, and its voice, but this taking of all responsibility is starting to look like the old man facing a weekly firing squad.

I wish Gibbs would take a page from Tuna's book, stop being so gracious, and start telling folks off, and kicking rump. I pity this man. Deeply. He has yet to learn some of today's players see dignity as a sign of weakness.

As for this PUNK Taylor, who doesn't see fit to even call JOE GIBBS all offseason, I wonder who got the bail-out (with the press if not out of jail..somebody is going to have to run interference for the punk with the Post) call at Skins Hdqtrs.

Alex Smith was considered most NFL ready by most scouts. He was earning rave reviews from his Wonderlic score and so on...Though Campbell might be showing the arm strength and mobility he has IMO Ramsey will stay the starter for this year because I dont think Gibbs will throw the rookie into the fire just yet. Brunell will be the backup but JC might see some mopup duty this year. Since I will be on vacation in DC during TC I could watch him play on TV during the preseason.
