Some may call it a lateral but in my eyes it was a forward pass

The NFL studied the tape (sent it to a university or something like that) afterwards and concluded the ball did not go forward. If the ball even goes parallel from where Frank Wycheck throws it, it's still not considered a forward pass.

Now it did kinda look like a forward pass if you just looked at the position of the players bodys. Wycheck did have his arm extended out in front of him, and Dyson reached back behind him to snag the ball. Maybe it was like an optical illusion....but it was not a forward pass....and Randy Moss should have been catching it

It was and will always be a forward pass in my eyes. It was poetic justice that Dyson was stopped 1 yd short in the SB

Lol, well have your eyes checked I guess

Since I'm also a Titans fan, that one yard stop almost stopped my heart

Gary Fitzgerald, of Redskins.com, reports the Washington Redskins have signed free agent WR Kevin Dyson (Chargers) to an undisclosed contract.
Newest member of the "owned" club.

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

I don't drink. The only two teams I root for are Dallas and Memphis. I could careless what happens to the Titans.

I don't believe in team motivation. I believe in getting a team prepared so it knows it will have the necessary confidence
when it steps on a field and be prepared to play a good game... Tom Landry
