I am the wagon. We need a FS and a Rt.
I want Verba and Ray Buchanan.
Verba wants money we have it to give.
Ray Buchanan I beleive started for the Raiders Last year. I really think this guy could be a great fs. He is even pretty smart. He has been on NFL total access and been very good. Spag said that the people competing for rt are jokers. Why would we not sign Verba?

I'm not too interested in either player. Verba is a LT, wants a lot of money, and has always been a bit of a disruptive force in the locker room. Parcells is looking to avoid that.

The only FS I'd go after if he is released is Lance Schulters, but even there I don't see us going after him due to the injuries.

verba looks okay. he missed the entire 2003 season with a torn bicep or some-such injury. but he was the only O-lineman to start all 16 games for the browns last season. he's in his prime years but wasn't he holding out to renegotiate an existing contract with the browns? he can play multiple line positions but lately it's been LT and i suspect he would wan't "starting-LT-money".... yikes.

ray buchanan is getting pretty old and he's not exactly of a "rangy build" in the first place. he might be worth a look as a backup CB if we didn't already have aaron glenn.

Buchanon is slower than my dead grandmother. The reason he's a safety is that he's too slow to play corner.

Verba is a punk and in no way should be brought to Dallas, even to see the JFK museum., certainly not to try out for the boys.
