Week 1 - Elimination Game

Shouldn't we get started in case someone wants to choose New England or the Raiders? You only have 7 days to decide on one of them. Myself? I'm going with Minnesota.

Administrator ... can you make the Elimination Game thread a sticky so it remains at the top? Also, who's gonna be the Commissioner of the game?

I am so ready for some football ... I feel all squenchy inside . Oh yeah, for those who don't know, NFL Network has No Huddle tonight so we should get a glimpse of The Boys (and I do mean glimpse) for those outside of the area.

If you talk about the cowboyszone survivor contest we played last year, first choice for the commisioner would be tyke1doe, because he ran the show last year. If he ist not available, I would help out.

Rules from last year from tyke1doe:

Didn't know whether to submit this on the main board or one of the other boards. But since this gets the majority of the hits, I figure I'd post it here.

Here's how it goes. You pick the team you think will win the first week of the season. If that team wins, you can't pick it again. If your selection loses, you're out.

You have until the start of the Sunday games. I know the Pats and Colts (make it Raiders) are playing Thursday, but if you don't pick that game you have to pick before kickoff of any game on Sunday. That means if the Cowboys don't play until 4 p.m. EST and you pick that game after the 1 p.m. EST it will not be accepted.

Any edits after the start of Sunday's game will be voided, meaning you will be kicked out of the contest. You can, however, edit your picks up until the start of the first Sunday game. You must get in on the first week. No newcomers after the first week.

So who will it be.

I wasn't on this bord last year, but this sounds like fun. I'll wait on the boys until we play the skins, so I'll go with St. Louis for week 1
