They made sure to take Paul Warfield out of the game. Mel Renfo was the biggest reason why the tactics worked.

Named the Cowboy that has no feeling in his right hand to this day because he was drunk at a party in college, puched the hell out of a mirror in the bathroom and almost bled to death?

Great, so no one knows this .

The answer is Mel Renfro. He was at a party one night, saw his girlfriend talking to another guy there, he was already drunk, so he busted a beer bottle on the wall near their head. After that, he decided to go to the bathroom and start punching the crap out of the mirror. He would have bled to death if it were not for his friends driving him to the hospital. This was just before the draft, and it hurt his stock. Rumors flew around that he had tried to kill himself. Of course Tex Schramm capitalized on this and was able to get him in one of the real steals in draft history.

Next question.

What Cowboys player was so good at his public highschool, that when his mom decided to enroll him in a Private School, the public school went to court to try and block it?

The Cowboys wanted to run and they had a very successful day running the ball behind Duane Thomas.

The Cowboys totally dominated the Fins arguably more than any team has in SB history.

The Cowboys completely dominated the Dolphins. Behind Duane Thomas, the Cowboys used set a Super Bowl record of 252 yards rushing and out gained the Dolphins 352 to 185 yards. Howley had I believe two important turnovers leading to 10 points. Dallas had 13 more first downs than the Dolphins.

Dallas controlled the ball most of the game. They ran 69 offensive plays for 352 yards to Miami's 44 plays. I believe they still own the Super Bowl record for a low of 185 yards.

Csonka and Kiick combined for 80 yards on 19 carries.

Staubach was voted MVP and hit 12 of 19 passes for 119 yards and two TDs. Thomas had 95 yds on 19 carries with a long of 23 and 1 TD of 3yds giving the Cowboys enough margin to win the game
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

This is one of the most informative threads on the board, let's not let it die so soon....

Who parked in Coach Landry's parking spot one day, causing Coach Landry to walk up to him and say "I admire a man with courage"...

"Tom's way with words, his bearing, carried a mystique all its own. There were all kinds of stories associated with it. One that I heard a few times concerned a rainy morning Tom drove to the team practice field. When Tom pulled over to his reserved parking space, he saw it was occupied by a car owned by a rookie linebacker, Steve Kiner. Soaking wet but controlled, Tom walked into our locker room. He looked Kiner in the eye. "I admire a man with courage," Tom said."
"The ball ain't heavy."

-Herschel Walker, when asked if he got tired carrying the ball 30 times per game.
