In 1989 during the Cowboys endured one of (if not THE) worst seasons in club history with a 1-15 record.
1. Did the Cowboys have any All-pro selections after this season?
2. Did the Cowboys have any Pro-bowl selections after this season?
3. If yes, who were they?

Troy Aikman threw for 379 yards against the Cardinals as a rookie in 1989.
Who was the QB for the Cardinals in that game?

There is smoke coming out my ears on this one as I try to jump start my memory but I'm think it was Tim Rossenbach (sp?) who as I recall was the Cards highly touted QB prospect a la Aikman.

Continuing the '89 theme, who was the leading passer, rusher, and receiver for the Cowboys in that 1-15 season? (Most yards pass, rush, receive)

If so, we gave up a 4th round choice in 66 and as well as the 1st, 2nd, and 2 5th round choices for him in 67.

Paul Palmer from Minnesota
K-Mart had the most yards I think
Steve Pelluer had the most pass yards

What year did the Cowboys have their first 1000 yard running back and who was it?

This is one of the few I think I know.
Calvin Hill, and I will guess 1972.
I know Duane Thomas did not run for 1000 yds in either 70 or 71, but he did have 5.3 yds per carry one of those years.

What was the name of the movie where a NO Saint QB was killed in his last game after being hit by Pugh, Lilly, and Niland...I never said it was a good movie...?
Bonus points for naming the actor playing the QB.

LTN, you are correct. It was 1970, when he averaged 5.32 YPC.
Hmmm, never heard of this movie. Also just curious, how could John Niland hit a QB during a play?
