For Allen. It is obvious by the way we are drafting that he is all but gone. This would be the 10 or 11th pick tommorow, I think, might be a little off. I like the picks so far, good quality starters.

Allen wants to go back to California and play for the Raiders. I don't see him going to the Lions...

trade options for allen were just options. not a deal. not a "i'll take the best and we're done". allen can still play. and fixing an OL isn't easy. if we can't fix the pain of losing him we don't lose him and we certainly don't give him away.

we didn't get what we wanted for allen, so we keep him, don't take the salary cap hit, and now look at the money we have when people go june 1 crazy.

allen won't throw away his career. he and parcells gotta come to terms and that's our next move. giving things away in a backyard garage sale is not a good answer.
