09:23 PM CDT on Wednesday, July 14, 2004 By TODD ARCHER / The Dallas Morning News IRVING – The availability of offensive lineman Gennaro DiNapoli for the beginning of Cowboys' training camp is in question because of a stress fracture in his right ankle. DiNapoli, who had surgery on his ankle in November, felt some discomfort in the area after the team's June minicamp. Players report to training camp July 30. The Cowboys are hoping DiNapoli could compete for the starting center job with Al Johnson or be one of the top reserve linemen. He played in seven games last year. |
