Default One confusing point about draft experts?

Why do different draft prospects with the same basic physical attributes get graded differently when it comes to there strengths and weaknesses?.....I am not going to get into specific examples but I have always been annoyed by this as it actually seems political. ONE LB prospect may be 6ft2 and 230 and the prototype LB and the next a 6ft2 and 225 prospect that his negative is "he does not have the prototype size for a LB".....? I have noticed this with every position when analyzing daft prospects. Speed is a defining point and I think it is very impt. our last successful coach who won a superbowl felt that way too. Ex....coakley,nyguen,D.smith,etc...has anyone else noticed this?

I think they look at the build of a guy though as well. You could have 2 RB who is 5'10" 200 pounds one with a lower center of gravity because of big legs and the other who is more top heavy. I can promise you the back with the more powerful legs will get more of a look from scouts than the other RB even though they are the same height and weight.

It could be any number of factors. I have seen guys graded as too small because they have real skinny legs and they play a position where having big legs underneath you matters. Some players get graded higher because they simply have a different motor. Maybe they are always around the ball or making plays in big games. It could be that they play in a conference with better competition. There are any number of factors that push guys up and down draft boards.
