Generally speaking, in my experience, off-season posts however tangentially related to the Cowboys tend to be like Ritz crackers to a starving man. And when there's real meat, nobody cares about a dang cracker anymore. When TC starts, the other posts will stop on their own.
But for the record, I, for one, appreciate all you crackers.

That's an interesting analogy and for the most part I think it's a good one.
I know I tend to let a lot more things slide during the off-season than I do otherwise. If the consensus is that anything not directly Cowboy related should be moved, I'll do that. I just think that most people want to go to the main board to read something, anything while the Boys are on hiatus.

It's a badge I wear proudly at work. If anything is wrong it's my fault. I excel as the scape goat because Duane don't give a frick.

This thread is totally off-topic. Please move it.

"The ball ain't heavy."

It is impossible to completely remove the human element.
Bias is a reality.
That being said...off topic threads are acceptable so long as the mods find them interesting. Just make sure you only write threads that the Mods find interesting....and/or become a Mod yourself

3) Only on-topic posts may be made in on-topic forums. Posting off-topic messages or creating off-topic threads in on-topic forums could lead to the messages being moved or deleted and account suspension or banning.
No offense meant, but it's getting tiring wading past threads concerning who did, said or wrote whatever concerning teams that aren't even in our conference, much less our division when there's a board for this purpose.
And yes, before anyone says anything, some of the same people I'm addressing here need to police themselves.
Thanks in advance,
DCP

Actually, I just used it as an example and my reply was meant for the entire forum user base not just you.
I have no opinions for or against Quincy so I'm neither a lover or hater of him nor do I keep up with the users here that side with or against him. I just felt that the Quincy example was one that a lot of users could relate to.
