Default NOV 21 @ Baltimore

I'm just curious if anyone here is going, or have attended the last Cowboys game there.

I'm going, so I was wondering what the atmosphere is like there and so forth. I've been to Baltimore before--even attended a game at Camden Yards. Anyway, anyone who can contribute to my question, I'd be thankful.

I am going H.

I think the new guy (Slimpud) doesn't know you are Cowboys fan. I'll be walking up the get tickets from scalpers early that morning. I am very familiar with the Baltimore city. I go to Orioles games @Camden Yards all the time. The Ravens stadium atmosphere is great. I'll be going with my buddy who is a Ravens fan. He teaches 12th grade in a B'more high school.

If you are indeed attending this game, could you please try and find a way to talk to each Offensive Starter before hand. Make sure you tell them to "Keep their head on a swivel" and to "Constantly be on the lookout for this man":

I know my forum name of "HTownCowboysFan" can be a bit confusing to some.

Are there plenty of tickets available at the game via scalpers? What's the atmosphere like? I enjoyed Baltimore when I've been, so I planned on going when the Cowboys were there.

I have numerous co-workers who live in Baltimore County and surrounding Baltimore city Suburbs. They make an 30min to 1 and half commute to get to work. They have stated on many occassions that tickets can be bought at the stadium on game day. Infact the conversation came up last week when the Ravens season tickets went on sale and sold out in 5hrs.

Ravens stadium is awesome. It in close proximity to Camden Yards (Orioles stadium). The Baltimore harbor is only a few blocks down the street and there are all kinds of pubs, bars, clubs, ESPN Zone, strip Joints . Those 2 stadiums reviltazed the entore Harbor area. Itis a great atmsophere. I love it. It's 30 minute drive to Ravens stadium. I liveronly 15 minutes away from Fedex field and 30 minutes away from Downtown DC. Baltimore an d DC are connect by 295. In my party days I could party in 2 cities in 1 night.

You'll enjoy the game. Ravens stadium is top of the line I don't think there's any bad seat in the stadium. All the site line s are great and it doesn't even feel like the 2nd largest stadium in the league.

The fans are dedicated there, it's like the whole stadium is purple with everyone wearing some kind of ravens jersey. I saw Vinnie and the Jets get absolutely mauled there the 2000 preseason. You could tell that defense was something special right away, even in preseason.

I distinctly remember the video displays and sound system in that stadium were both awesome.

I'll be there.

I went to the game when they killed us like 44-0. Nice stadium and the fans are fine. I had my Emmitt jersey on and had no problems. It would be cool seeing some of you guys there.

I don't know who is going to win that game - but the final score is going to be 3-0.

Sounds great. I like Baltimore--the Inner Harbor and Fell's Point was a blast the times I went. Perhaps as time gets closer, we can put together some sort of Cowboys pregame.

I live in Canton, which is right next to Fells point on the harbour. I went to one Raven game last year and am hoping to get seasons tickets through work this year. I give them to customers, but would keep the Cowboys tickets for myself. It is a hoot when the introduce Ray Lewis at home games. He has his own separate song from the rest of his players and the fans get jack when he does his dance. BTW, Ray is opening up a Barbeque shack a few blocks away from me. I am interested to see what type of crowd it attracts.

I'll go if the ball and chain lets me.

Thanks for the ticket info QCard. Ebay's pretty cheap too, but most people are selling pairs of tickets on there.

I saw a game at the Raven's stadium a few years back and like other posters have commented the two huge scoreboards and the sound system really stood out. I had nose bleed seats way up behind an endzone that I did not like. I had a good view of the entire field but felt somewhat removed from the game. I would recommend you get seats as close to the field as possible. Overall a very nice place to see a game.

I went to a game last year, definately a great atmosphere. The Ravens fans are really a good crowd that is really into their team. I go to Towson University just outside of Baltimore, so i'm going to try and go to this game, but thats if I can find tickets at a reasonable price. How much does the scalpers generally sell their tickets for from your experience there ?

I've been really looking around, pricing tickets. So far, it looks like $150/ticket is the cheapest through ticket brokers (and stubhub.com as well). I am watching ebay as well.

If anyone has walked up and scalped prior to the game, I too would be interested in knowing what the going rate usually is. I'll probably get tix before flying into Baltimore however.
