hagan reminds me a bit of crayton. if we were to draft a wr in the first it'd have to be santonio holmes. he is a real deal playmaker.

Hagen won't be too happy when he isn't catching many passes cause our QB is getting sacked every other play

Rob didnt understand the speed of the game. Thats the first year learning. That and the playbook. He will get better in his 2nd year hopefully. He will watch film and see how guys were betting him and learn.
I just wish people would give some of these players a chance before throwing them to the curb. Tucker and Pettiti did a better job than most people gave them credit for when Flozel went down. Now we just complian on how we need new tackles .
I think the learning curve for a RT is greatly reduced when you START your pro career at 6'9", 330 llbs after having played a RT for 4 years in a big program.

Marcus McNeill anyone?

Man you couldn't have put that ANY better, Petiti sucks. McNeill is agile for a big man and moves his feet well. And we all know Jonathan Scott won't be there for us to draft.

What do you think? Do you see Bill drafting a WR in the first round?

I dont.
NO. We need Brod Bunkley of FSU, a pass rushing dt to replace Glover. Our pass rush is still not good enough.

We will take best players available - excluding a few obvious area's.

Best DT, RT, LB, TE, FS in One

WR/ILB/CB in rounds 2 and 3 my guess.

Don't know about this one Kartr. He's a 3 Technique DT. If were going 34, I think you have to look at NT as opposed to 3. Ngata would be nice but I don't know that he will be there for us. Maybe Oshinowa or Watson in the later rounds. Something tells me that Robinson from Virginia might be on our radar.

I cant understan why petitti gets such a pass because he was a 6th round pick. I don't care where he was drafted, he shouldn't have been starting. Players picked in his slot aren't expected to make the team, so him playing was a surprise, but he played badly. Its not like he beat anyone out and played well as a 6th rounder. He was, for some strange reason, the only option and played like someone who had no business on the field. He should get better, but then he will be just terrible or bad, instead of awful. If he improves alot, he may even be slightly below average. I would love to have to eat these words, but I didn't see any flashes from him that would make me think he will be above average. Certainly not enough to affect the team's free agency or draft plans.

He was doing good when he was getting help once Flo went down it became much harder on him considering Tucker needed help as well. I do agree that Petitti was thrown into a very tough situation and all we can hope for is that he can learn and become a better player. I do recall seeing Mark Tuinie getting beat constantly but once the light came on and he had a better grasp of the position he turned out to be a darn good player for us. I do think Dallas should and will look to upgrade the Tackle spot and I would hope Petitti will get a chance to compete for the job.

We need a tackle, but it doesn't have to be through the draft. I'd prefer a veteran. I don't want to have to go through the rookie growing pains while watching Bledsoe get the crap knocked out of him every week for another year.

I would like to draft a WR or QB in the first but I say defense-LB and FS 1st 2 rounds unless we pickup FS in FA.
I dont know how much they will change the OL except maybe center. I know people say RT but the Rookie played 16 games and with a little work in the offseason on his footwork he will be better. I dont care what people say he did a good job for a 6th rd pick whose was overweight.

1st of all, he wasn't overweight.

2nd of all, I don't want to hear that "for a 6th round pick" crap. I want a guy to do a good job PERIOD. Drew Bledsoe isn't thinking about what round Petitti was drafted in when he's picking himself up off the turf.

if we go defense in the 1st round we might consider punting on every down to keep the defense on the field.
