What about this draft scenario?
Trade La'Roi Glover or Anthony Henry and our first round to move up to get.. Either Mario Williams DE, NC or Jimmy Williams, CB, Va Tech>?

I'd never use the s-word or the d-word on some of the trade scenarios, but dang I just wonder if people really think some of them through before posting...

Thank you to all donated to the Jason Witten Camp drive!

Glover yes, Henry no way.... But with our 1st and Glover we might be able to move up 2 or 3 slots that's it
Why trade Henry, then we would need a another CB and we need no rookie, even though Williams is good but we need a young QB, WR, DT and FS, oh I forgot another OL
but let's wait for F/A first to see if we make a couple moves

why would we want to use our first rnd pick for a de? we just drafted 3 de's last year.
you trade henry and you get a huge cap hit because he just signed and got a bonus last year.
trading glover will be very tough. he has a big bonus coming and you would have to pay it to trade him.in all lillyhood glover will be released. and henry is a better cb than anyone in this draft

The draft simply can't get here soon enough.
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

yeah, about a 9 million dollar cap hit for trading Henry. Yep. That's how you build a good team.

I never make fun of peoples ideas... but dude, why would we get rid or Henry? He's a very good young CB who solidifies our secondary. It's like saying let's trade Ware, or Spears... just silly.

I'd trade Ellis/18th pick, and next years 2 to move up and get Hawk.

Me too, but who would make that deal with us? Hawk is a 5 or 6 (1700 & 1600 points)and our 18th (900 points) and next year's 2 (let's say 330 or #25) that makes Ellis worth 370 - 470 points, or the equivelent of a 11th to 21st 2nd round pick. He isn't worth that, is he?
