Default Clint Stoerner (e-mail)

Hey guys I don't know if ya'll will care but I thought I would share it anyway. I recently e-mailed Clint because I always liked him (mainly because his one game he won was my very first). But I sent him an e-mail because he recently got injured in the AFL. But anyway I asked him some questions about the Cowboys and I thought I would share.

Eric,

Thanks for the support and your right it is very hard
watching from the sidelines. However it all happens
for a reason and I am goin to make the best of it.
The most exciting thing for me was probably the fact
that I had reached the pinnacle of my profession,
meaning that I was one of very few of the best QB's in
the World. Also, my mother and father were very
excited and I love seeing them loving life. All of
the big name guys have their own very different
personalaties, but Emmitt was one of my favorite. He
was and still is a good friend and always treats
everyone with respect. Well thanks for all the
support and well wishes. Good luck to you as well and
stay healthy.

Clint Stoerner

Dear Clint, I was so sorry to hear about your
injury. I've been through it. Two straight years now
and I have only played in one game. Its infuriating
watching from the sidelines. I've been a fan of yours
ever since you played with the Cowboys. Your first
start was my very first Dallas Cowboy game I have been
to, and I'll never forget it. Can I ask you
something? What was the most exciting thing about
being a Dallas Cowboy? And what does it feel like to
be a Cowboy? Whats it like to play with guys like
Emmitt Smith?Well anyway, heal fast and I'll be
waiting for you to tear up the gridiron again.

Good luck,
Eric ****

Wow, congrats on that man. Shows his character. Wish other athletes would take the time to do that.
Leadership is getting someone to do what they don't want to do, to achieve what they want to achieve.

Also shows he gets very little email from fans.

HAHA, man, after I wrote that I was thinking the same thing. But he seems like a good guy. Most non-superstars are humble though, so its not surprising.
