LOL!..Broncos reportedly aren't letting Javon Walker board a plane
The Broncos reportedly aren't letting Javon Walker board a plane to take a physical for the Patriots.
The NFL Network's Adam Shefter reported that Walker was going to take a physical with New England and Philadelphia Saturday. His knee has reportedly checked out fine in Denver. Profootballtalk.com reports the Broncos are trying to finish a deal before he leaves.

Not bad news for us as long as he stays out of Philly.

so what? we dont play them this yr
and honestly, anyone "banking" on Walker making a huge impact anywhere next yr is high...the guy wont even be 1yr past his ACL tear when the season starts...its likely he wont be 100% until 2007
and on top of that, he only has had one good yr anyway

If Denver gives up their #1 for him, they won't be taking our LB!

I doubt Denver gives up a #1, most likely a #2, but we can hope...

ACL's heal much faster now than they used to and he tore it early. He should be good to go before the end of TC.
His one good year was his third year in the league which is when most WR's hit their stride. I think you are selling Walker way short; he will make someone a good player this year and will be great in years to come.
I seriously hope Denver gets him BECAUSE we don't play them and it would keep him out of Philthy...and we DO play them...Twice.

Better than Philly getting their ugly mitts on him.
And I would rather have Denver get him than the Pats. I'm happy to see the Pats fade into the darkness so we can get back to remembering who the true dynasties were.
I think it's a perfect fit at Denver anyways, for both parties.

Yes we do. In the Superbowl.

If Denver gets Walker and trades their #2... then they'll most likely go LB in round 1, dammit.
They need WR, RB and LB. They won't go RB in round 1 (I doubt)... they always have good luck in later rounds on RB's. That would leave LB. Goose probably got his final mock right when it comes to Denver.

Manny is not a LB in Denver's scheme. Try DE.

How are they stopping him? Did they have airport security take him into custody? Tie him up and toss him in the trunk of Tony Saprano's caddie? Last I heard, that was kidnapping, or at least false imprisonment.

Walker is exactly who Denver needs. He makes great sense for them.
