I would have traded down for more picks and then draft Justice at around 21.

nope.
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

Was a bit surprised because I kept hearing about how Dallas might trade up a few spots to get him if he was still on the board......I just keep remembering us getting abused by the skins at the end of the season....

He doesn't interest me much. Like Winicki said, he's soft. He has questionable character. Just everything about him makes me churn.

Yeah I'm satisfied w/ Carpenter also but just wanted to hear some opinions.....Lets just hope we can grab a nice safety and pick up an OL too w/ the next couple of picks.....Anyone like WR Moss from Miami if he hangs around?

Not interested in 1st round OL especially those that are finesse players.
Thankfully, I was smart enough to have never believed...

No doubt about it...I wanted Justice. As another poster already stated, I think we could have traded down a little and still got him.
I don't know where some of you get that he's "soft"...I think that's nonsense. He certainly doesn't come off as one of those players who carries a "mean streak", but he definintely takes care of business on the field. Whomever should get him will have their RT for years to come.
That being said, I'm pleased with the Carpenter selection....a very solid pick.

Honestly, I wouldn't have minded Justice at 18. We need to solidify our O-line and as it stands right now, we are far from it.
Bledsoe needs to be on his feet to throw the ball....not his back.
