He's the best owner in the NFL by virtue of the fact what he did to market the Cowboys changed the way teams do business. Tagliabue will get a lot of credit for the financial stability of the NFL, and rightly so. I think Jerry deserves a lot of credit too.
Agreed!

Jerry is one of the best owners in football because he wants what is best for this team. He has learned through his mistakes that he needs to surround himself with smart NFL types and he has done that with the hiring of Parcells. I think Jerry has learned his lesson and the days of puppets on a string (Switzer, Campo & Gailey) are over and he will bring in another great caoch to replace BP when he finally decides to hang up the clipboard.
The Greatest Ever

Me personally, I like him. I like the fact that we are on a first name basis with him, as a fan base, Jerruh! LOL.....

I think he works hard to make us a winner. I think he spends which is not always the case in the NFL and I think both the Cowboys and winning is important to him. For that, I respect him.

Opinions?
He's the dumber to Parcells Dumb. Neither can draft or handle free agency properly. Parcells teams have underachieved every year he's been here and Jones is dumb enough to think that everything is on schedule, despite the fact that he witnessed Jimmy turning this team around in 3 years and beginning to dominate. Jimmy inherited an absolutely terrible team and turned it around very quickly;the team that Parcells inherited was good enough to go to the playoffs, yet has underachieved after Parcells began to put his personal stamp on it. Yet, Jerry can't see this.

Dead nuts on...........
AS: Cowboys ice their own kicker in 19-13 OT loss

“That is one of the luxuries of my position as owner as well as the ultimate decision maker, general manager and president – I can do that and take the losses and come back for more,” Jones said.

God help us...............

Jimmy did not have to deal with FA when he was here and something called the Walker trade helped this team big time especially since Minn produced some bad season so we were getting our high 1st rd pick and Minn high 1st rd picks for 3 years not to mention 2nd and 3rd rounders. Jimmy under the FA system in Miami was not looking so bright drafted 5 RB in 2 years with none panning out
