Yeah, and Dieon did pass interfere with Irvin...And to top it off, Barry got a penalty for arguing. That game was stolen on that one play....1st and goal we would have had instead of 3rd and 20....Or whatever it turned out to be...
Be excellent to each other....

#8 was an awesome player, and one tough SOB! He was very accurate, if not one of the most accurate passers ever...

There is a story floating around, that one time in the halls of Valley Ranch, some player put, I think, a Coke can on his head and dared Aikman to knock it off his head with a football from a pretty long distance...Aikman just grabbed the football, and threw it stright at the player, and knocked the can off his head, and did not even touch his hair or head...

Someone else might remember that story better then me...But, Aikman was great...!

Actually it was reported few times. I believe Dale Helestrae used to that.

Well, I learned all of that after the fact, needless to say...Although my dislike for Deion has nothing to do with that

If Akiman would have begged JERRY for RANDY MOSS like he did with DAVID LAFLEUR he would still be playing!!!

Jerry cutting Aikman was right up there with what he did to JIMMY and LANDRY!!!

Great pics Juke. Damn I miss Aikman.

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

not me...I see it just as you do...this guy was one of the best pure passers ever...he'd have shattered tons of records if JJ and Norv/Zampese had chosen to take a passing game 1st mentality...nobody had his combination of accuracy, arm strength and toughness in the pocket...and he seemed to never make mistakes

Hated the outcome of that '94 championship game. Still can't accept the cheating salary cap 49ers winning it all that year. Loved what Troy did. Deep down inside, I believe if we still had JJ coaching and the fiasco didn't happen between the two JJ's Troy probably would have 5 SBs making him the "winningest" QB in the NFL.

But then you'd still have idiots questioning his greatness because of stats.
Is there any reward for good other than good?

To think Aikman was not a Great QB is absolutely Incredible...Because he was.

We got Incredibly Lucky Green Bay lost that last game in 1988.

I pray to God that one day the Cowboys have that kind of luck again.

I got my tickets Troy for the Hall Induction...I'll see you there!

I'll always recall the championship game vs the 49ers in Switzer's first year. Aikman put up huge numbers...took a beating all game....and continued to shine.

For me, oddly because it was a loss, that will always be the Aikman game I remember the most.
I always remember the 2nd season of switzer in which Aikman led Dallas to a victory over Green Bay in the NFC Championship.
To me that was his greatest game.
I agree that Aikman numbers suffered because of our balanced offense.
But Aikman never cared about his numbers...just winning.

all they have to do is look at Troy's stats in the 1st half of games to truly appreciate how great he was
