Default Training camp pictures from 8/16-8/18 (Long)

Mods - For some reasons I couldn't post to the TC zone, so please move this thread if appropriate.
-----
I visited the Cowboys TC from 8/16 to 8/18, saw four practices, and had a pretty good time. The one regret I had was that I couldn’t do daily reports like I did last year because of laptop problems. In any case, I thought I’d share my thoughts and some of the pictures I took. Below are some of the pictures I took. Observations on the players will follow shortly. First, here are the pictures:

Best footage I've seen of Ware yet. Looks like he's playing low and taking angles to the QB. Gonna make it hard for the big fatties to get a hand on him.

Glymph sure is a big kid isn't he? Wow.

In the D verse D drills the players wear the cloth on their heads as a signal that they are a member of the offense or defense, I cant tell which is the case based on the pics.

When the secondary is running drills they need 'mock' offensive players to play against. Players wear different color cloths to represent the different offensive positions that the defense plays against.

Yup.. the colored caps are used for differentiating roles during simulation. Newman was just being Newman - showing his goofiness in one of the practices when he was simulating the opposing team RB.

I am doing my write-up on the defense now. Looking at my write up on the offense, it was kinda blah. As I begin to write my observation on the defense I realize why - I had spent most of my time watching the D. How can I not? It's not just a pretty young and fun unit, but it looks to be one exciting and dominating unit for years to come... =)
