Default I'm excited about the two OL we got

I love the fact that we selected two guys from winning programs in college. And has anybody seen the mugs on these two?

YIKES!!!

I think these two make an imidiate impact on our O-Line. Jacob Rogers looks like he may have a good shot at starting at RT. And Stephen looks to 1) light a fire under Gurodes but to step it up or 2) provide insurance incase of a trade of Allen. Either way he provides good depth and a future starter at gaurd.

At first I was livid at the trade but now understand that we have lots of holes to fill on this team and with the trade out of the first with Buffalo will help us fill those holes quicker without having to overspend to fill those in FA.

Way to go Bill!!! IN BILL WE TRUST.

Myself, we got 2 guys who were very big in their teams being Co-National Champs this past year. Both have room to grow but have some very good talent right now and I feel will be able to come in and compete right off the bat for a starters job.

I love those picks too, two big OL that have a mean streak to them. Plus dang the second one (im guessing peterman) looks like a killer. Hope he's one on the field.

I love our draft. We got two linemen who will be impact players. Jones has talent, but is more of a wait and see. I never felt too confident that Jackson was a SURE thing. I'm just glad we didn't get stuck with Kevin or Greg Jones. The TE from BC looks to be a keeper as well. Overall, we got 3 sure starters, an excellent back-up TE and if any one of the others pan out, you'll have to think this was a great draft. And don't forget 2 first round picks next year.

There was a great sidebar on Peterman in the spoting news draft guide that I will enter later. It wouldn't surpise me to see him starting by the end of the year.

Rodgers could have a similar impact to Dallas' line as Jordan Gross had to Carolina's. If he can stay healthy he should be solid for a long time. Peterman as a prospect reminds me a lot of Gurode. I don't think he has a position, he's not a good enough pass blocker to play LG and he won't beat out Torrin Tucker and Gurode on the right side.

I guess we need a new saying in Dallas, "You can't have too many good tight ends."

Jacob Rogers
Pros: Athletic, experienced, good technique, big frame, gets in good position, quick feet, excellent balance, gets out of stance quickly, top intangibles, a dominating pass blocker & excellent run blocker. Has all the tools to excel in the Pros.

Cons: So why is he projected so low? He definitely has health concerns. Suffered a separated shoulder in 2003, a sprained right knee in 2002, hyper extended left elbow in 2001, and surgeries to his right hip and dislocated left shoulder in 2000.
"Young man, when you throw a strike, Mr. Hornsby will let you know."
Bill Klem when a pitcher questioned a called ball to Rogers Hornsby.

Road Grade Rogers will be a solid addition to this team, as will Peterman. I like the new OL, and with the existing personnel at BP's disposal, I think this unit will be much better than it has the past couple of years. If Johnson is healthy and Gurode responds to competition, the line coaches will have a tough time deciding whom to leave out!

Agree with you on Peterman and not having too many TE's, but I don't think many people will confuse Rogers with Jordan Gross. Gross was a consensus pick and very durable. Rogers has a good rating but has chronic injuries. We all hope Rogers will be a solid starter, at the minimum, but Jordan Gross? Doubtful.
