Default My Top Prospects for The Cowboys

This is a list of potential prospects by positon that we need for the top 3 rounds.

QB- Obviously not much of a need right now. A vet back-up is more important next year

RB- Again, no need to pick a RB in the draft

WR- with aging WR's it wouldnt surprise me if we picked one in the first 3 rounds. Top 5 that woudl be available are:
1. Jeff Samardzija ND
2. Steve Smith USC
3. Robert Meachem TENN
4. Dwayne Bowe LSU
5. Najah Pruden

TE- With Witten and Fasano there is no need for a TE

OL- Our o-Line is aging and still not that great. There is a very good chance we draft at least 1 O-Lineman in the 1st 3 rounds.
1. Jake Long T Mich
2. Levi Brown T PennState
3. Justin Blalock G Texas
4. Ben Grubbs G Auburn
5. Ryan Kalil C USC

DT/Nose Tackle- Ferggie is getting old and it never hurts to have a pair of fresh legs backing up.
1. Frank Okam Texas
2. Amobi Okoye
3. Quinn Pitcock OHST
4. Demarcus Tyler NCST
5. Quinn Pitcock

DE- No need for DE. We already have a surpluss of young talent here

OLB- Unless a player like Woodley falls to us in the first round we will stay away and stick with what we got.

ILB- NO need

CB- No Need

SS- No Need

FS- Watkins hasnt shown anything yet and Davis still isnt very good. If the right player is available we could with FS in the 2nd or 3rd round.
1. Laron Landry LSU
2. Micheal Griffin Texas
3. Brandon Meriweather Miami
4. Eric Weddle Utah
5. Reggie Nelson Florida

I think Micheal Griffin would fill a nice need. I think Meachem will be the best of the bunch at WR. After the Mike Williams thing I am hesitant about drafting a USC WR.
I had an apartment and I had a neighbor, and whenever he would knock on my wall I knew he wanted me to turn my music down and that made me angry 'cause I like loud music... so when he knocked on the wall, I'd mess with his head. I'd say, "Go around! I cannot open the wall! I dunno if you have a doorknob on your side but over here there's nothin'. It's just flat."

Mitch Hedberg RIP
