Well I dont think we are going OG NT, and dont think we need to... Just filling in the blanks that guy said.

I don't think the FO likes Texas players.

That comment about "country club" colleges was directed at Texas IMO.

Amobi Okoye DT/Louisville would be a nice first round pick . The kid has 4 years playing experience with a good program under a good coach , and he's only 20 years old . At 6-1 317lbs. he'd be big enough to play NT behind Ferguson , but is also athletic enough to make a run at Canty for some DE time .

While I don't see WR as a real high need on this team , this year would be a good season to get one . Some guys are going to drop into the second round that might go in the first in previous years . I really like Anthony Gonzales from Ohio State and Paul Williams from Fresno state . Both kids have good size , great speed and kick return ability .

Another kid I'd love to pick up in the 4th or 5th round is Brian Leonard FB/Rutgers . He's the best running and receiving FB in the NCAA and also a pretty good blocker . Sure would be a nice check down guy for Romo .

As somenody else mentioned , I'd lose no sleep over Justin Blaylock . He's one of the better guards to come out in years .

I don't think Bill would go out of his way to avoid a player because he went to Texas

Break it down by region and it's south, south, and more south.

Michael Bush from Louisville appears like he'll be like Brandon Jacobs of the Giants.

Kenny Irons:

Displays good vision and instincts and is a natural runner...Is more quick than fast...Patient but he will explode through the hole when it opens...Will run with authority and plays like a much bigger back...Good athleticism and the agility to change directions...Is dangerous in space and will run away from people...Gets the most out of every run...Doesn't have a lot of mileage on his tires...You simply can't ignore the history his school has of sending guys at his position to the pros.

Red flag......

2006-Sat out the Buffalo contest due to a right groin sprain and a right turf toe (9/23)…Did not play vs. Tulane (10/21) because of a left high ankle sprain and bruised fibula…Did not start vs. Georgia (11/11) due to his high ankle sprain and bruised fibula.

yeah, but I believe a lot of that is because of Brandt. He was in love with the dame SEC, which would not have been so bad had he been able to figure out which of the players withing the SEC had talent and which didn't. In stead, he simply adopted the policy of "When in doubt, take which ever SEC player is still on the board."

I seriously hope that we start looking at more players from other confrences. The Big12 and PAC10 have sent quite a few players into the NFL over the last few years. Apparently, they play football in other areas then just The East and the SEC.
