I currently rate Young the highest center, even though most go for Kalil. Young is a big nasty mauler at center, pancaking DLinemen in 1 on 1 drills, which is pretty much unheard of. He's not athletic so may have problems in space, but once he gets his hands on the lineman, they're taken out. It's like moving Larry Allen to center.

To expand upon my thinking, Kyle Young has also had extensive practice at RG, where many say he may be a better prospect. Add to it his nasty demeanor which we have missed in quite some time. To me, he is a prime candidate to play center or move to the hole at RG, which is why he is so high by my rankings.

One of the big complaints about drafting a FS in the 1st round this year is that we already have too much money and high draft picks invested in our secondary.
If we are going to go ahead and put another first rounder back there, I would much rather grab a top flight FS which will greatly improve that position immediately, as well as make Roy even better. I can't imagine drafting depth at CB in the first round with the monumental hole at FS.

Are there any spectacular nose guards or Def Tackles coming out this year?

no, you're thinking of Hillary Duff
Season ticket holder since 2002 - I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I can.

Large WR with exceptional speed, long arms and tremendous leaping ability, very good YAC threat, potential future #1 WR who will have the benefit of biding his time a couple of years behind TO and Terry Glenn, to work on his route running and the finer points of starting at WR in the NFL, while still adding a big, vertical threat to the passing game as a rook...

sounds just like Mikes Austin and Sam Hurd.

His thinking is that Henry will move to FS. This way we would have a starting corner and hopefully in a year or two Watkins shows his skills more consistently at the FS slot.

actually I have in mind that Dallas should sign Deon Grant to start at FS, or at least give Watkins competition, I want Revis because he's a good punt returner, and would be a better cornerback than Aaron Glenn outside when Newman moves into the slot, as he's taller and physical, so he could handle opposing teams moving their big WR there, instead of them taking advantage of Glenn's height, or lack thereof, plus both Henry and Glenn are getting up there in age, so we're going to need at least a quality #3 in the near future

THere's a lot of good stuff being said a/b FS in this discussion. The fact that this position IS a blaring need for Dallas AND that the draft is wraught with great talent at Safety (covers Safeties too), means this ought to be addressed come April.
