Default Senior Bowl - Wednesday Day 3

It's the same schedule as yesterday 10-10:30 last night's recap show if you missed it. 10:30-12 practice and then 5-7 the other team's practice.

North practice is first.

NFLN production is hilariously bad at times. Right now the audio isn't in sync with the video, it's like watching an old kung fu movie.

Garret Wolfe is out with a bad hamstring - That'll really hurt his draft status.

He's been replaced by Clayton from Kansas State.

The first ten minutes has shown nothing but players stretching. #87 from Iowa really does windmills with his arms nicely. Drew Stanton can touch his toes.

DBs were doing some drills. Hall has very quick feet. Weddle doesn't have CB quickness. FS Rouse from VaTech has quick feet for his size, he looks as tall as Watkins.

A few DL drills - Moore from Nebraska still continues to impress me.

LBs covering RBs is next

Pozluzsny was beaten badly.

Hunt beat Blades but dropped it.

QBs with all skill players but no defense- in the red zone

Stanton held the ball a little long but has a strong arm.

Palko's arm pales in comparision but his footwork is better.

Smith throws a really tight spiral but his set up takes way too long.

2nd go round

Stanton just ducked one. A dying quail. Then a good throw to Hill.

Hunt had a nice catch from Palko. Then Palko threw one 5 yards OB.

Smith missed badly to a back in the flat.

WR/DBs in the red zone

Hill (Washington St)beat Jackson(Syracuse)

McKnight (ND) beat Hall (Michigan) but bad throw

McCauley (Fresno) tight on Allison (East Carolina)

Myles (WVA) put a great move on Wilson (Maryland).

Clowney (VaTech) beat Gattis (Wake Forest)

Hill beat McCauley on a slant

Rouse (Va Tech) had great coverage on allilson and picked it off.

Williams beat Weddle (Utah) but dropped it.

Hill beat McCauley but the throw was late

Clowney beat Gattis

Myles beat Rouse -Myles is going to be a heckuva pro.

Williams caught one over Weddle but good coverage

McCauley good coverage on Hill who almost made a great catch.

McKnight TD over Jackson but should have been O PI.

Myles with another TD, this time over Gattis.

On to punt coverage.

Hughes sitting out practice with back.

OL/DL 2 times each

Pittcock (Ohio St.) beat mozes (WVA)

Beekman (Boston College) even with patterson (Ohio St)

Yanda (Iowa) stuffed Spencer (Purdue) twice

Marten(Boston College) beat Carriker (Nebraska) the first time then Carriker schooled him.

Saetle (hawaii) handled Patterson

Meebane (Cal) even with Ramirez (Texas Tech)

I don't know which team is practicing right now, but that Levi Brown is really impressive. That's who I want in the first round. The Okeye kid is also a stud.

The center is also pretty good and the guard from Texas Tech, (Ramirez) has a nasty attitude.

Team drills-

Clayton fumble recoverd by Weddle.

Hunt with a hard run for 3-4.

Stanton to McKnight for about 8 yards.

Leonard for 2 yards.

Palko too long for McKnight no one generated pressure.

Now in the red zone.

Leonard for no gain. Rouse with a nice play.

Patterson with a sack.

Went to commercial as Smith was throwing over the middle.

Practice is over

Mayock - Brandon Myles had the best day offensively and Carriker had the best day defensively.

5:00 eastern is the South's practice.

Thanks alot for the practice updates, Stanley.

I'm not a draft guru and I have no idea who some of these guys are, but the information is valuable. Especially as we get closer to the draft.
Thank you to all donated to the Jason Witten Camp drive!

Hey Stan,

Weddle, are they working him at CB or at FS or both?

Only at safety when they go to full squad.

He seems like one of those players that doesn't look great in drills but when the ball is snapped a light turns on. On the first play they showed with the full squad, Pittcock or Burgess stripped Clayton and before anyone realized it, Weddle was on the ball.

Season ticket holder since 2002 - I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I can.

I really like this guy, as you know. I think he might be there in the mid rounds. He's just one of those guys who can play football. I just don't know if his speed is there to play FS in the NFL.
