Horns vs. Razorbacks
I'm predicting a big day for the running game. I'm also predicting a big game for the defense.
Horns win 42-17
Hook em'!!!

Horns just got hosed on an incomplete pass called a catch down around the 15 or so but Texas is doing what they do best. Missing tackles, going away from the running game and basically, giving another game away.
Certainaly, better talent but always the worst coached high profile program in the NCAA.
This from a 40 year Texas fan.

And the ghost of Tom Landry steps in and provides devine intervention. Arkansas manages to fumble within easy field goal range when down by only 2. Texas lucks out and sneaks away with a win despite being out played by Arkansas IMO. Good job Texas coaching staff. Go get a couple more blue chippers so they can come to Texas with all the talent in the world. This Texas football coaching staff can basically ruin them, while yet again, managing to choke in whatever second rate bowl we get invited to.
Bravo!

It was a terrible call for Ark not to run the ball there at the end. If they'd have kicked a field goal, I don't think there is any way Vince Young could have driven them down for a go-ahead score.
Oh well, I want Texas to be undefeated until the RRS so their inevitable loss to OU stings all the more. It's gonna be ugly.

I was a Texas fan until I saw you were. Then I said to myself, "What team could I root for that would make Ben the maddest?"
I looked back over the past 4 years or so and saw one consistent loss on the Texas schedule... some team from Oklahoma. So I said, "that's who I'm rooting for from here on out!"
In all seriousness, should I be looking for you at the Cotton Bowl? I'd love to say howdy to ya. I'll just look for the guy with the big 'fro and the joint sticking out of his mouth (that is you in your avatar, correct?).
I'll be the guy with the Uncle Sam suit on, wearing a Rush Limbaugh tie, passing out Bush/Cheney campaign lit.
We can even put a friendly wager on the game. Loser buys the winner one of those big Texas state fair corn dogs... mmmmmm, corn dogs.

Hilarious.
You are a Sooner fan, eh?
What happened to your undefeated, "best team ever" last year?
Yeah...
It was bound to happen "Sooner" or later.
Coach Whoops, couldn't have been happy about that.
In all seriousness, that is a cigarette, not a joint and I've never been to a Cotton bowl and I don't eat hot dogs, but I'll make a gentleman's bet that this is the year that we beat the Gooners.
The theme for the game...
"Defense=Offense"
:p

Yep...the passing game needs a little help, but we can run all day long brother. BTW, any news on S. Young's injury?

Selvin Young sidelined with ankle injury
Junior running back Selvin Young fractured his right ankle in the Longhorns 22-20 win at Arkansas last Saturday and underwent successful surgery on the injury on Monday, UT football trainer Kenny Boyd said. No timetable has been set on Young's return.
Young, the Horns top backup to Cedric Benson as well as the team's first-string punt and kickoff returner, rushed for a career-high 102 yards and two TDs on 12 carries in UT's season-opening 65-0 win over North Texas. He was injured on the first kickoff return against the Razorbacks.
Young has 661 rushing yards and 10 TDs in 26 career games and also has returned two punts and a kickoff for a TD in his career. He has registered 1,622 career all-purpose yards and has turned in career averages of 17.3 yards per punt return and 22.3 yards per kickoff return.
