The Cowboys will have the Jets pick in the 6th round #186 overall

Another nice surprise is that it was announced Dallas would get 2nd pick in round 7 #194 overall. Dallas will have 3 picks in round 7.

meaning we have extra picks to move up like we did to get MBIII or Canty (forget which one we moved up for) if we see another player like that

If used wisely the extra picks can prove to be very rewarding.

We used one of our late picks to move up to grab Pat Watkins who I believe will do a good job in 07. He's now got experience playing FS in the NFL and soon our offseason weight conditioning program will begin and he (along with Carp/Hatcher/Fasano/McQuistan/Stanley/Whitely) will greatly benefit from the added strength and a few more extra pounds of muscle.

dallas also traded down to pick up skylar green.

We all know that it's hit and miss when you get into the 5th round and later. So if you do get 1 starter out of those last few picks, be happy.

I know JJT stated that we have 2 6th round picks and 3 7th round picks. When I asked him about it, he stated he got the information from the Dallas PR Dept
