Round 1 - Chris Houston
Round 2 - Mason Crosby
Round 3 - Jason Hill
Has us taking the exact same positions as he did in his mock on 3/15 but has us taking Houston over Ross in round 1 and Hill over Steve Smith in round 3....

22. DALLAS COWBOYS
CHRIS HOUSTON
CB | Arkansas | Scouting Report
The Cowboys have a clearly defined need at free safety so some may be surprised to see a cornerback here but there is a logical explanation. Word is Anthony Henry might be moving to free safety and since both LaRon Landry and Reggie Nelson figure to be gone by this point that might be their best chance at addressing the position.
***
Where is this 'word' coming from? It wouldn't surprise me if we target Houston at 22, but I doubt that it will come about because of this 'word'. I don't see Henry moving anywhere. If Houston is selected, I see him competing with Watkins at free safety and Henry at cornerback respectively. Should he beat out Henry, Henry would be backing him in the normal scheme and providing support in the nickle and dime sets. Henry is more of a liability at free safety than at cornerback.

the "word" came from the boss himself, mr. jerry jones..However, a few weeks ago he took back his comments and mentioned that it is not likely that henry will be moved to FS....

Exactly. Why are they using that as a basis for a NEW mock?

We go kicker in the 2nd the chat room will melt down, the thread starts will skyrocket and Hos will blow a gasket. Not necessarily in that order.
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

There is an excellent example of a animated gif of someone's head exploding, which is exactly how I picture Hostile's reaction following a kicker's selection, but it's probably too gory to post on the forum.

still with the kicker. that tells me this mock is put together by folks who don't follow Dallas at all.

It looks like they just changed the 1st round. Their last "mock" had us taking Mason.

and the 3rd. They had us taking Steve Smith in the 3rd. People were shocked he had Smith going so low, but in this mock he had him going even further. If you go to his message board he just takes people's complaints and seems to magnify them. Obviously he's just doing this right now to get people talking.

Kicker in the freaking 2nd round would be dumb, real dumb.
The guy who came up with this mock has no clue about the Boyz. Everybody knows we just signed Grammatica to a 2 yr deal. Think about it, why would we resign a vet kicker on a 2 yr and then blow a 2nd on another kicker.
Freaking amazing these guys actually get paid to write this crap.

i'm no fan of a kicker in rnd 2, and it's still real early for mocks. but they are one of the most accurate mocks out there
