In which he started 7 games.
Which you threw a fit about earlier.
And still...you address no points.
I award you no points, Witten is better, you can't produce any ranking system that refutes that besides "firehawk's homer system" and may god have mercy on your soul.
You've been getting rocked up one side and down the other in this thread. Time to go be with the other homers and lick your wounds.

I still don't see how it's "harder" to gain yards or TDs as a 3rd option as opposed to a 5th.

you're so dumb, it's not even funny
leading receiver is used to describe who has the most receptions, here's an example...
With his 5-yard reception in the second quarter against the Colts - the 535th reception of his career - Troy Brown became the Patriots' all-time leading receiver, passing Stanley Morgan's mark of 534 receptions

At least he wasn't a leftover who got cut from the Texans!
The offensive line challenged Texans cut that bum!

When he has two better seasons in a row. Oh yeah, those seasons are the only ones that he was the starting h-back or TE (as he was in 06)

Yeah, any ranking system??? How about the one I've been expounding. You know, looking at all the statistics?

last 2 years
Witten-756
Cooley-754
let's compare career seasons shall we? which WItten's was btw, his 1st year as a 16 game starter, his 2nd year

What magical 'criteria' somehow give Cooley two better seasons in a row?
Put up or shut up already.

Oh yeah, I forgot, the Texans are the kings of personnel decisions. Wait, wasn't Davis from the OL challenged Cards?

I had a feeling you were insecure enough not to believe me. This is starters only.
LT...Samuels over Adams
RT...Jansen over Columbo
RG...Thomas over Davis
RB...Portis over Jones
I'd flip a coin between Rabach and Gurode at Center.
FS...Taylor over Hamlin
RCB...Smoot over Henry
It's hard for me to even compare the front 7 given 3-4 vs. 4-3, but I'd take Marcus Washington on any football team and London Fletcher too. I think your front 4 is a mess, hence why I wouldn't trade the #6 pick for Briggs and #31.
I think you have some young players on the bench that are good too. Though I dislike your team I am not blind to talent or potential. I am brutally honest, even when it chaps Cowboys fans butts.
Welcome to the chapped butt club.

That's firehawk's homer system. Where TDs are the end-all and Witten's best season is disregarded. Pure stats are not very in depth. I've provided you one. I've shown why Witten has better hands, is more of a downfield threat, whereas Cooley catches passes behind the LOS and stretches them due to blocking.
You've got TDs.
Go cheer on Cooley in your homer tent. We'll keep cheering the NFC's best TE.

I'd say it's about even, Cooley is better at getting in the endzone, and Witten is the more surer receiver, both are average blockers

maybe we should just leave it as this and you all can call it a day

you mean he had more TDs and 2 more 20 and 40+ yard receptions, despite lower yards, receptions, yards per catch and 1st downs? that's 2 lesser seasons
