Stokes had 342 career receptions. Was he great? Not at all. But far from "awful."

Koren Robinson should never have been drafted at 7. There where so many red flags in his scouting about character and work ethic issues.

He even quit doing drills during a private work out and stuff

That is Holgrem the great GM drafted him any ways because of his possible upside then added Stevens several later.

That is why I prefer the Cowboys to pass on guys like that because if there are those types of red flags; then most likely they are going to pop up when they add a ton more money to their pockets.

Those moves stopped working in the NFL? Then why dont you watch his punt return vs the Jags his rookie year. He juked out a whole lot of people.

injury's, the Bungles, and Akili Smith ruined him.

Seriously Akili Smith rofl.
"His poise has been surprising. Against Indy, at the two-minute warning, we thought we'd take a knee. But Tony comes in the huddle and says, 'All right guys, we're gonna take a shot. We're going deep.' We're like, 'What? Game's over.' He took a knee, but for a minute he had everyone going." -Jason Witten

My reaction to this list:

If you are willing to go back to 1975 (and Larry Burton), you could find similarly impressive top 10 bust lists for most positions.

Draft day always involves taking calculated risks. Sometimes you win. Sometimes you lose.
Answer for this off-season: Assemble an elite offense.

Curtis Conway, 1st Rd., 7th pick. Hart Lee Dykes, 1st Rd, 17th pick in 89. Joey Jones, 1st Rd., 9th pick in 84. Chy Davidson, 1st Rd., 11th pick 81. David Verser also in 81 regular draft, 1st Rd., 10th pick. I mean, the list goes on and on.

Hart Lee Dykes was a stud that blew his knee out when that was a career ender. Plus, at 17, he was considered a steal. The rest I agree with.

like the article stated, he wasn't quick enough in the pros to make up for his small stature

there HAS to be bigger busts than Howard, great return men are hard to find and he might have been one of the best ever at it.
He was one year wonder basically, a bust as a receiver, a horrendous flop for Washington, almost cut in the pre-season before 1996 in Green Bay except Robert Brooks was hurt for a time and Howard managed to stay on the roster and buy his time.

He found a good blocking scheme and gained confidence as a return man for one great year.

Then he slid back into oblivion and reminded everyone he was a bust after collecting a Super Bowl ring and MVP trophy.

I think you mean Mike Sherrard and if so I disagree with you on this.

He was a good player, broke his leg in training camp while showing great promise initially after Dallas drafted him. He was traded and although slowed by his devastating injury for which surgery of the era was unable to correct as effectively as in would today, he was a solid third wideout behind Jerry Rice and John Taylor for two Super Bowl appearances and three NFC CHampionship game losses afterwards.

He then was a solid veteran reserve and part time starter in New York for Dan Reeves and a third wideout in Denver in 1996 when the Broncos went 13-3 before calling it a career.

On his merits as a wide receiver alone, though? I'd say he earned a spot.

One is tempted to make a top ten worst Redskin wideout drafted.

Desmond Howard- utter bust as a receiver
Michael Westbrook- they passed on Galloway for his services
Rod Gardener-gone the way of Freddie Mitchell
Jacob Jacoby- a second rounder who started because the cupboard was empty.
Albert Connell- a second day draft choice who would've been a special teamer and fourth wideout on most teams, started one year for Washington out of necessity, he and Westbrook were quite a duo.

I'm outta ammunition, someone take over the next five...
