How big is tonight's game?
This is a pretty big game.
First off, we're playing our arch-nemesis in Washington and renewing our hatred with racing boy (Gibbs) on the national stage that is Monday Night Football.
Secondly, while the difference between 2-1 and 1-2 may not seem like much, it is important in establishing a winning record/attitude. We were torn apart pretty good by Minnesota and the knowledge that you can bounce back so soon from such a loss is great for morale.
Finally, next week is our bye week and carrying positive momentum into your bye week is always a good thing. Especially since we have 2 very winnable games (vs. NYG, vs. Pitt) following it. A win tonight and we could easily be staring at 4-1 going into Lambeau.
This is still very early in the season and it would not kill us if the Redskins took the game but it certainly wouldn't help matters any.

it is easy to call every game a big game.......... but, in the overall scheme, this isn't a 'big' game to me. 1-2 would not be a dire situation. there are some good teams that are 1-2 already..... tennessee, green bay.
having said that, 2-1 sounds a lot better........ hmmmmmmm. maybe it is a big game.

I would consider tonights game to be big, 1st it is a divisional game which carries more weight and 2 the loser is 2 games back in the NFC East. Clearly this is not a do or die game but it is big none the less.

Very big game regardless of score.
If we get run all over or thrown against at will, we may end up picking up someone with the belief that 13 days is good enough to get them acclimated.
It will change how we practice. If we have a million penalties we will be practicing not to the entire time, but if we don't then we may add some wrinkles etc.
But yes, very big game. We go 2-1 into bye, come out with 2 quick wins and the team should loosen up a bit, play with more confidence.

It's big because its a divisional game against a major rival...if we're a good team, we should win this game because the Skins (despite some of their fans attempts to argue otherwise) are not as talented as we are...
its not the end of the season if we lose, but clearly if we're going to take the next step and be a "good" team, we need to win and play better than we have in the prior two weeks

not only would we be in last and 2 games behind the iggles, but we'd be 0-2 in nfc play and 0-1 in the division.
this is a BIG game.

it's the cowboys first divisional game and the giants are shaping up to be more than the minor speed bump i initially took them for. a road win tonight would go along way toward setting a tone for future divisional games.

Yes, this is a big game but I wouldn't go so far as to label it as a "must win". If the Cowboys win this game, they're looking at a BYE week followed by the Giants and Steelers both in Dallas.
A win means this team is looking at starting the season 4-1 and battling the Eagles for the top spot.
A loss means 1-2 and one helluva long BYE week.

This is a big game because:
- It is the Skins
- It is Monday night football
- Winner is only 1 game behind the div. leader
- It is the Skins on Monday night
For this team, every win is huge and could be the difference between making or missing the playoffs. I'd hate to be 9-7 and looking in vs. 10-6 and being in.

This game is HUGE
Forget about Monday Night stuff. The year end record doesnt say what day the game was played on. If we lose this game tonight then we will have to likely beat Philly twice to win the division. While that could be the case even if we win tonight it becomes almost a certainty if we lose this game. That is of course unless Philly self destructs. We can always hope.

It's always big if it's a divison game. This is where the foundation for the post season is laid, if you lay goose eggs now you pay for em later. I think this will be a easy win IMO, I don't think Brunell or Ramsey will get it done and Portis will have a hard time running in the rain/water soaked field.

Any game within the division in my estimation is huge.........We need to start divisional play with a big "W" tonight.

Lose this game and become what I've thought we were an 8-8 team. Win it and keep the chance of a 10-6 very much alive.

I don't know if it's a "must win" but it's definatly a "perform well" game. Not a single one of those players wants to know what it's going to feel like middle of next week if they blow tonight and Parcells goes on a rampage towards them through the bye.
On another note--if we lose, that means we were a losing team for 75% of the first month, only breaking even once and never being above 500--that's unexceptable, bye week excuse or not.
Scr*w what I said first, this is a MUST WIN GAME!

No thanks I'll pass on the Parcells' Koolaide...it's bah, bah, bah stuff...
