Hey, the guy in the deadskins jacket AHEAD of Gibbs had more class. Don't know who it was (only saw his back), but he slapped Parcells on the shoulder with a "good game" gesture. Interestingly, THAT's the shot the TV clips were running this am. Gibbs wouldn't even look at him--& it was clear that Parcells really wanted to reach out to the guy (no pun intended) to show him how much respect he has for Joe. He did the same last year with Belichick, despite losing a game you know he badly wanted. Listen to Parcells' statements last week--he continually talked about how much he liked Gibbs & was rooting for him.

I live in the DC area, & I haven't been impressed for one nanosecond with Gibbs. He's greedy & egotistical--he's just had a good PR agent to put him across as some sort of icon. And if I hear that fake modesty & giggle one more time, I'll puke! Fortunately, with the way the season is going, I don't think he'll be giggling much. He clearly bought in to all the hype about how he walked on water (parted it too), & was just going to waltz to the Super Bowl with this team. Well, now he's stuck with his overhyped team; his overrated, over-the-hill, & grossly overpaid FAs--welcome to the NFL today, Joe.

Make no mistake--ol' Joe was hired with 2 very clear mandates. Little Napoleon expected him to beat the Cowboys (& more importantly, Parcells) & to match Parcells' record from last year. I've said all along, & I'll say it again--that ain't happening. They'll be lucky to go 8-8 this year, & won't do much better next year. Well you saw the real Gibbs last night--he's not as good as Parcells & never will be, & he's a classless loser.

Shall we start placing bets as to how long it takes Danny-Boy to start meddling again? I mean, think about it--they're at home, on the first Monday Night Football game they've had in several years (& the last for a while), against the hated Cowboys, & against Parcells. That is EXACTLY the game Gibbs was supposed to win. But neither he nor his overpriced FAs could get it done.

Well, I hope Parcells gets pissed and hangs 50 points on the Redskins on Boxing day.

Default Nobody's Perfect...

I live in the DC area and have been to 6 Cowboys/Skins games (4 in DC, 2 in Big D).

Every Cowboys/Skins game in DC is attended by legions of Skins fans with T-Shirts that read:

F&*K Dallas <---the word is actually spelled out on the T-Shirt.

Is there someone that can design a T-Shirt that says...

Cowboys v. Skins

13 and 1

Nobody's Perfect

If you design and print a T-Shirt that says this, I'll buy it and wear it proudly.

The problem with that is you would have to get a new T-Shirt design after every game (14-1, 15-1, etc.).

This will leave a bad taste in BP's mouth, I am sure. He really respected Gibbs but I bet he doesn't as much anymore. BP puts alot into the fraternity aspect of the NFL and this will eat at him.

Games like this are tough to lose but GIbbs, I thought was better than that. It really is a shame.

You keep printing it, I'll pay a premium on your costs to keep getting new ones... Let the presses roll!

Joe Gibbs is still a classy guy. He may have been upset, which is understandable, because they really won that game. all of the skins points were legit.

Our first TD came on a bogus call by the Ref, Glenn committed offensive pass interference, that was a botched call.

Gibbs is a classy guy and a great coach

Would that be the three points that were scored after Portis was down too. Would that be the seven after Wileys gift too. If that was even a good call!

BS, look at the scoreboard. It's not like Dallas didn't get some calls blown against them last night

Honestly, I think the problem here is that not many remember Gibbs from the old days.

Gibbs has always been this way. I saw this very same thing with Landry. It's not a situation where Gibbs is a jerk or anything. It's the fact that Gibbs knows he has to see us again. He does not want to present the image of gracious loser to his team. He knows that in order to win, he has to go through Dallas. It's a question of building a teams mental image.

I would be shocked if Parcells didn't understand this. I would further be shocked if Parcells held this against him.

Gibbs is here to win. He's not going to be happy about this lose and he's not going to be happy about how it happened. Gibbs has never and probably will never be a good sport type guy when he meets in the middle of the field. In fact, the only time I've ever seen him be buddy, buddy was with old coaching peers.

Last time I looked, Philly was at the top of the NFC East. We should be focusing on them. There who we need to go through if were going to win the NFC.
