Care to explain exactly what you were trying to say there?? No matter where these anti-Saddam Kurds were basing their operations, they WERE anti-Saddam, and they WERE financed by Osama bin Laden...

I was pointing out that Hussein tended to have a VERY negative opinion of those who attempted to oppose his rule in Iraq, as bin Laden was doing by financing those Kurds... rI actually thought that would be pretty easy to figure out...

Look at the approval ratings for the invasion going in, and the approval ratings for it now... seems pretty clear to anybody who does that the opinions re: the Iraq war have changed considerably over the intervening years...

Or do you deny that the war has considerably less support around the country than it did back then?? I call my argument a common-sense analysis of the FACTS, rather than me "speaking for the rest of the world"... I also call that weak attempt at rebuttal "lame"...

The scoundrels in the administration are really unworthy of the well-meaning but misplaced loyalty shown by some of the posters onthis board. It's unfortunate that they aren't more deserving of those who believe in them so fervently.
