exactly newman did good his rookie season...his sophmore season..was pretty bad...and for these reasons......

1)we had no right corner back...so wed usually play a safety closer to that side which would leave newman in 1 on 1 situations more than half the day...and Champ Bailey could barely handle that, when he first went to denver(the same season newman struggled, bailey was getting beat in man)

2) if u remember..they were saying that newman was playing the whole season with a banged up knee.
