Why "uh oh", IR?? Did ANYBODY in here predict that he'd run a 4.54??
And did I not say that IF he ran a good time at the combine, I'd move him up my charts?? Which is no more than I'd do for ANY prospect who a) had a productive college career, and b) proved in his offseason workouts that he was faster than he was generally credited with being, fast enough for the NFL...
I did the same with Jason Hill, after he ran MUCH faster than I'd expected at the combine...
You act like I didn't WANT Filani to be successful, which is of course pretty ridiculous... I merely pointed out that the 40 times he was credited with were too slow to be successful in the NFL...
But with today's workout, Joel has helped himself a lot, perhaps moved himself up as high as the 4th round (though I'd still say 5th round would be more like it)... good for him...
