Seriously, doesn't the team's apparent inability to identify good linemen cause you to rethink that approach?? Personally, I'm not even sure they'd recognize a "good young one" if it walked up and bit them on their collective butts...
No, there isn't... I'd just make an exception for a good, proven guard who can be plugged in at RG RIGHT NOW...
Dielman, Davis and Dockery... those are my big 3... I think Dielman's salary demands make him an unlikely signing (same with Steinbach), but Davis or Dockery would do just fine...

I do agree that the recent draft history of O-Lineman is discouraging and downright scary. There are some good looking lineman in this draft though. It seems reasonable that this team will be able to find help without reaching.
As far as free agency is concerned, I do think that Dallas will be somewhat picky. I say that partly because of the draft fall-back option. But I also say that because I have heard and read several good things about Corey Procter.
I still expect Dallas to shop for a guard. I just don't think they are going to be desperate and go all out on the finances. I think Dallas is going to look for another Kyle Kosier kind of signing. I don't think there is anything wrong with that.
