I think this season was the most disappointing in our entire history.
Not only did we lose in the first round, Dandy Don Merideth got out of his hospital bed to play the game.
He didn't play very well, however as Bob Lilly would say many times since, the Defense was terrible.
We Fans and Media decided to Barb-B-Que Dandy Don, Bob Lilly tells the story after the season he and Don went into a resturant together and the customers treated Don so poorly that Bob blames this event to sending Don to early retirement.
He was so badly hurt by our attitude.....
I don't know how the Cowboys history would be different if Don had have stayed, but I regret that we didn't get the chance to find out.
