Hunter isn't good? He was playing the nickel....that's the hardest secondary position to play. He moved there due to the injury of Mitchell after training most of camp to play the outside.
I think Hunter can be just as good as Edwards. Apparently, the coaches do too. Why else would they not have a sense of urgency in signing a CB?
Hunter has tremendous upside. I don't think any CB in the draft...aside from Robinson or Hall would be any more of a risk than Hunter.

A risk is going into the season with Hunter as our starting CB. Why weren't we urgent to sign a CB? Because there was no CB on the market that was worth what he was asking for. Even though none of the CBs I listed have taken a NFL snap I would rather them start then Hunter. He isn't good and won't be good in the league its that simple. We will get burnt all year long with Hunter in the 2 slot.
