Looking at what Anthony Henry did his first year in the league, Rolle is of similar size, is a physical player, and is a playmaker. Plus, many of Rolle's negatives would be mitigated by having him play further back from the LOS. It's not tough to imagine him having the kind of impact and playmaking ability that Henry showed his rookie year.

It would also give us flexibility down the line when Newman's contract is up, as well as providing some CB depth and flexibility in coverages.

You already have your captain of your secondary in place with Roy, so no worries about having a rookie there.
