Looking at what Anthony Henry did his first year in the league, Rolle is of similar size, is a physical player, and is a playmaker. Plus, many of Rolle's negatives would be mitigated by having him play further back from the LOS. It would also give us flexibility down the line when Newman's contract is up, as well as providing some CB depth and flexibility in coverages.

I think you could address both by telling him that if he proves himself, there's a good possibility of moving to CB by the time his first contract is up and then making CB money then.
