Roy and Adam are similar in that they both have good instincts around the line of scrimmage. Pull them back off the line and they both seem a little lost. Woodson had a better feel for deep coverage and I wouldn't say he was good at it.
Woodson had 5 INTs over the last four seasons and didn't even see the field last year. I would expect Archuleta to have at least 1 a year especially since the Rams have had a better pass rush.
And I would agree with this statement. Ideally, you don't want Archuletta to play free safety. That is not his game. He and Roy Williams do have similar games with Adam being slightly more athletic and Roy being more physical.
But if we could get lucky and sign him without really giving much away in return I would take him.
