Default More players the Boys are interested in?

NORTH CAROLINA (March 22nd) senoir running back CHAD SCOTT ran between 4.45 and 4.50 in the 40... 4.22 short shuttle... 6.96 three-cone... 32.5" vertical... 9'6" broad jump and also did 19 reps of 225 pounds... senior quarterback DARIAN DURANT ran between 4.58 and 4.65 in the 40... 4.40 short shuttle... 6.91 three-cone... 35" vertical... 9'10" broad jump and also did 18 reps of 225 pounds... weighed in at 5112, 224 pounds... a little undersized by most NFL standards, but more than a few QB coaches and evaluators like his intangibles and QB skills... senior offensive lineman JASON BROWN ran between 5.18 and 5.22 in the 40... also did 26 reps of 225 pounds... weighed in at 6024, 309 pounds... senior safety GERALD SENSABAUGH did not run the 40-yard dash, as he was happy with his results from the Combine... 3.98 short shuttle... 6.80 three-cone and also did positional drills... Dallas and Miami seemed to pay close attention to his workout... senior tight end/fullback MADISON HEDGECOCK did only positional drills, as he was happy with his Combine results... weighed in at 6027, 259 pounds... Seattle seemed to pay close attention to his workout.

JACKSON STATE (March 18th) senior wide receiver CHRIS JONES (#3) ran between 4.43 and 4.46 in the 40... 4.27 short shuttle... 7.03 three-cone... 12.10/12.18 60-yard... 37" vertical... 10'0" broad jump... 32 1/2" arms... 9 1/2" hands... weighed in at 6020, 211 pounds... has gained ten pounds, since the end of the season... did not have any issues with his right hamstring, which bothered him some at the HBCU All-Star Classic... big-play specialist the past few years... new coaching staff kept his stats down, as a senior, as they went to more of a ground attack... his physical tools are all very similar to former Jackson State standouts... but he has less of the "talkative" bravado... more of a low maintenance kid... ran 4.5's at the HBCU on a slower FieldTurf surface... trying to get eligible to workout as part of Mississippi State's Pro Day... Atlanta, Dallas, Minnesota, New Orleans and San Diego have all paid close attention to his workouts.

TROY STATE (March 17th) senior defensive end/outside linebacker DEMARCUS WARE ran between 4.50 and 4.55 in the 40... some had him as fast as 4.49... it was more of a private workout that was attended by at least seven teams... Baltimore, Carolina, Cleveland, Dallas and Houston have shown him additional attention... will have a private visit with Atlanta on March 30th.

ALBANY, NY (March 17th) senior offensive lineman GEIR GUDMUNDSEN ran 1.75/1.78 10-yard times at his recent Pro Day, according to one set of watches... senior safety/outside linebacker KURT CAMPBELL has a private visit lined up with St. Louis... plus several private workouts coming up, including one with Dallas... both players will also be working out on March 28th and April 4th.

NEBRASKA junior safety JOSH BULLOCKS had no less than eight defensive back coaches at his recent Pro Day... Atlanta, Dallas, New Orleans and the NY Jets have been showing additional interest in him... the Saints staff members spent time after the workout talking and meeting with him over dinner.
