It results in more money to certain teams, but NOT a competitive imbalance thanks to the salary cap.

No one can spend more than 85 million on players-- and getting players is the primary way to compete. In fact, sometimes spending more HURTS a team, especially if that team can't draft <cough>DALLAS<cough>!

Teams can spend money beyond this limit on coaches and can borrow from future capped years to pay out signing bonuses-- but are you telling me that a team which is guaranteed over 50 million in revenues beyond the 85 million in player expenses can't pay its coaches or signing bonuses??

What are they doing with the money they've been making???
