to be fair fanatic I saw the same thing over the first 10 or so games also-
he got turned around on slants ....he couldnt find the ball deep and got beat deep.
My contention is that Newman did not get any help from his free safety- who sucked- dixon and scott- and the pass rush was average most games and relied on blitzes the other half -thus leaving Newman on an island by himself
Would I take Newman over the Eagles corners- Im not sure- Can Newman be good- absolutely
WIll he -I hope so
