There was a time when I was still an officer I went to pick up a new patrol car.
Since it was new and didn't have a unit number on it there was no way of knowing for sure who it was..I decided to see how it would "run" on the way back to the Sheriffs Dept.. 30 miles of open road..When I got back the office was empty except for the dispatcher(I think it was a Sat) The dispatcher handed me the phone to take a citizen complaint on some deputy driving at a high rate of speed for no reason..After listening to the complaint ,I assured the person that the Officer would be called in and the problem taken care of.
Pushing the button ,when you don't know who is going to answer doesn't always solve the problem.. Juke is ok --He's just a (4) string guitar picker who doesn't know how serious it is to diss someones horse..I think there is still a law in the books that says he can be hung
