I met Spears on several occasions at LSU and the kid is very special. He's an amazing person, an electric player, and an absolute delight when he takes his helmet off. Spears played with some very good defenders in Marquise Hill and Chad Lavalais (both on NFL rosters) - when Hill and Lavalais departed, Spears still got the job done while the LSU offense struggled all year long. Teams were preparing for him and game planning around him, but he still broke some noses, drove offenses bananas, and destroyed the opposition in the clutch.

We really appreciate you dropping in and sharing your thoughts. You don't have to listen to Marcus for more than two minutes to know he's all class. And it doesn't take you two minutes reading scouting reports and game recaps to tell he leaves Mr Nice Guy on the sidelines and really performs in a game.
