Denver went 75-64-5 during the 70's. That is a 54% winning percentage. They had 6 winning seasons in that span with two of those being just 7 win seasons(14 game schedule) due to their ties. They made the playoffs only in 1977, 1978 and 1979 going 2-1(lost to Dallas in SB12), 0-1 and 0-1,respectively. I know Denver had some good players in those days, but their team record in that era doesn't represent HOF caliber in my opinion.
