I would have it checked out. I had issues with rain (2004 NFL draft...ugh), but had a tech come out and move my dish. No problems since even in heavy downpour. Surprisingly, my problems came from near by power lines (yes, make jokes, I live under power lines. I eat paint chips too).
However, it took 2 techs and a threat to move to cable before I got it working. I love the product, but hate the service.
