I think their logic is, we want the NBA fans who want high scores. The average idiot doesn't understand how great a defensive grudge match really is. The Super Bowl was great, the offenses were completely stalled.
Another thing that has lead to these rules is the size and speed of the athletes now a days. I say, the hell with it, bring back the days when you could clothesline people. I hate the new contact rules, make those sissy *** WR work for their catches.
