Not sure where you're getting your numbers from because if you go to NFL.com and look up Portis it shows he has 13 fumbles with 4 lost over his career.
Sure Jones had 7 TDs, but they all came against teams with rushing defenses ranked 23rd or even worse. Alot of teams scored TDs against those 4 teams Jones scored all his TDs against.
[View Full Quote]To say a RB who has put up two 1500+ yards and one 1300+ yards seasons hasn't proven more than a RB who played half a season in the NFL doesn't even make sense. If Portis was a Cowboy and had put up those kinds of numbers and the Skins were saying their 2nd year back who put up big stats in 3 of 8 games played, but couldn't even must 3 ypc against the top 3 defenses he faced was just as good, we'd laugh them right out of this topic.
I want Julius to do as well as the rest of you guys, but c'mon all he is at this point is potential. Flashes from last season show us all that he has great potential, but I want to see it in more than just 3 games.

I think Julius is well on his way to stardom, but your post is dead on.
