He had evidently already been working on his mechanics by the time he got on the field. I noticed the difference when I saw him in those two games. That is why they are saying they are only tweaking his mechanics now and fine tuning it. They too a sledge hammer and 24 inch pipe wrench to it during the season last year and did a major overhaul.

I agree completely. There was a significant difference in throwing motion between preseason and then the Bears/Ravens games. The sidearm motion was much less pronounced.
